With the tournament less than two weeks away, here’s a quick checklist on what each team should complete before competition day!
- Release forms! This is both to satisfy university requirements and also to make sure that we have appropriate contact information in case of any emergencies.
- Sign up for builds! (The spreadsheet is sent to coaches) Our tournament will be awarding the top 3 teams that do the best in builds, so please sign up to make sure your team can test them.
- Bring the required materials for lab events, especially safety goggles. We can’t allow participation in wet labs and builds without eye protection and proper clothing.
- Make sure that participants have extra money for food. Lunch is about 15 dollars at any of the dining halls. T-Shirts will also be sold for 20 dollars.
A small reminder that team numbers (a full list
here) will be determining your schedule day-of, according to the info document.
Team decisions are coming out! All teams that have registered before November 7th, 2022 should have received notification emails, and any teams registering past that date should receive notifications within the next two or three days. Information on the next steps for registered teams are sent through email. Safety and liability forms will be sent out closer to the tournament date.
After much consideration from feedback provided by interested teams, we’ve decided to follow the same event schedule as states this year! We know that many teams in Massachusetts build themselves around the state’s events and event conflicts, and we hope to prepare all competitors regardless of experience by offering a tournament that runs in a similar format. We do have a couple key differences, however, so please take note of the tournament details and keep an eye out for further updates!
